Trygve's second solo show has achieved an even higher cult celebrity than his previous SQUIDBOY, winning awards and selling out at multiple festivals since it was first created in early 2014.

Originally developed in residency at Det Andre Teateret in Oslo KRAKEN is a “masterful... wonderfully absurd” (Fest) one man show performed using mime and mouthsounds and the imagination of its audience.

Readied by the opening idiotic strip-tease the audience are prepared to follow where-ever this masterful fool wants to take the show. Trygve takes the audience from fun with unicorns, to sword-swallowing, to snake charming, weight-lifting, beatboxing, self boxing, and the birth of a baby elephant. It's a strange world with never-ending laughter and the occasional request that the audience will take part in this game.

KRAKEN continues to please audiences around the globe and shows no signs of stopping.

Well-executed and charming physical comedy...a real and sophisticated piece of art.

It sounds mad, and it is. But in Wakenshaw’s masterful hands the audience completely buys into the physical and narrative laws of his world.
